February

February is the beginning of a new year. Hopefully though, you've been getting ready for it's gardening activities already. Actually, the gardening season is never really complete. There's always something to do do with our green, growing friends.

With the beginning of February, you should already be having your trees pruned, and be spraying them, as well as fertilizing all of your plants in preparation for the coming growing season. A sprinkling of time release fertilizer into the top few inches around your fruit trees, and in your flower beds will serve you well for a couple of months, and ensure that your fruits and vegetables get off o a healthy start.

You should have already gotten your prunung done and any left-over cleanup is something to focus your energies on. Remember, you can easily have plenty of growth around your property, but keeping it clean, and organized it what will set your efforts apart from others in your area.
